Kubura Resort, Anuradhapura

I found the hotel to be somewhat overhyped for the price in Anuradhapura. On the upside, it's conveniently located near historic sites like the Sri Maha Bodhi, and the rooms were nicely sized. However, the dining experience left much to be desired with very limited options and delays, and the bathroom cleanliness was not up to standard. Additionally, the lack of hot water was disappointing, and the view from the hotel was affected by nearby road traffic.

My stay was quite a mixed bag. The location is perfect for visiting nearby historical sites, but the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations at that price point. The rooms were spacious and clean, but issues like lack of hot water and a dirty bathroom lowered the experience. The dining options were limited and not at all appetizing, while the pool was overcrowded. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience, as it's definitely overhyped compared to the value it offers.
